I’m sure I’m not the first to use this expression, but I’ve become quite fond of the concept of the Universe rewarding action. My personality type suffers from paralysis by analysis, so I need all the help I can get to get moving on things. (Perhaps I’m not alone in this, either.)
Recently I’ve met some wonderful crossline colleagues in USANA. One of the reasons my USANA business has been so slow to take off has been the lack of local support. This is key, and I had no idea how key until very recently. With my new associations, however, I am empowered to step out and take action.
So, I woke up yesterday morning bound and determined to schedule a business presentation—my first one in nearly seven years with USANA. These presentations are titled “Health & Freedom” and USANA even provides the PowerPoint slides. All we have to do is pick a location, schedule the event, advertise it to generate interest, and then show up and do it. Sounds easy enough. I wonder why I took so long?

And beyond the foregoing “shameless plug” for my Health & Freedom event, I write this simply to encourage you to do the same. If you are struggling in your network marketing business, take action. Contact others near you and support one another’s businesses. If you are petrified of public speaking, perhaps someone else can do the speaking for all of you. That is likely to be my major role among my newfound associates here in New Hampshire. (But overcoming your fear of public speaking will serve you even better in the long run. I have much more to say on this topic, so I’ll save it for another post.)
If you are not in network marketing, that makes no difference. There are certainly actions you can take to propel your own business forward, whatever it is. And forget business. Your issue could be in your personal life. Take whatever action is appropriate to achieve your desired result.
A very wise man once said, “Take the first step, no more, no less, and the next will be revealed.” So take that first step and watch the Universe roll out the red carpet for you.
